Nexgen Locum on behalf of our client are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager. The home provides therapeutic and supportive care to 6 children and is looking for a Deputy Manager to be part of their new team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to support the registered manager in building up a new team within a new home and provide the best care for the children.

The ideal Deputy Manager must:
- Have experience working within a childrens residential home
- Have a Full UK Driving License
The duties of the Deputy Manager include but are not limited to:
- Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education.
- Ensure the positive development of young people in care.
- Using the community, supporting the social and learning aspects of young people.
- Supporting the registered manager in providing training and guidance to the team.
- Help to manage staff welfare, staff absence etc
- Ensuring the home is Health and Safety compliant.
