About this opportunity
As the shop window to our Corporate brand, lloydsbankinggroup.com (LBG.com) plays an important role in how we reach key audience segments (Investors, Shareholder, Careers, Media), build associations with our strategic themes, and communicate our Helping Britain Prosper story.
The Digital team manages all aspects of the site, from editorial and SEO to user experience, page builds, accessibility, delivery and, now, performance.
This Digital Analytics Manager is the missing piece of the jigsaw. The person who can build our analytics from the ground up, set KPI's, understands tracking and conversion and adopts a constant test and learn approach to optimising the website. As we continue on our strategic transformation with the pace it needs, this role will be integral in helping us understand and interrogate data optimise and improve our outputs.
The role reports into the Digital Lead and works closely with Digital Managers and Editorial experts to improve overall site performance, content optimisation and objective conversions.
Responsibilities
Owns the performance, benchmarking, tracking, A/B testing and optimisation of LBG.com using tools including Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target
Works closely with the Digital team and partners to understand the core objectives of each area of the site and piece of content.
Works closely with the Digital team to proactively discover underperforming areas of the site and applies best-practice recommendations to improve pages.
Upskills and educates the division on the importance of data and what we can learn and reports insights and findings to colleagues at all levels
Challenges constructively, driving real purpose to our website output and performance
Continuously develops and grows by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities
Uses measurement and feedback to understand the impact of communication and use the findings to test, learn and adapt to influence future communications
Establishes and maintains effective networks of contacts across the communications job family

What you'll need
Proficiency of the Adobe package including the Adobe CMS and Adobe Analytics
A passion for numbers, data and uncovering insights
A sense of curiosity and constant energy to improve and optimise output on the site, asking difficult questions and challenging the team / stakeholders to improve
And any experience of these would be really useful
Previous experience of working with Contentsquare
An understanding of Qualtrics (or other similar user experience management tools)
Some knowledge of Tealium or tag management would be ideal
The ability to clearly communicate complex data into simple actions and outputs
The ability to apply judgement on the variables driving performance changes
