The Vacancy

This new and exciting Digital Marketing Lead role is key to helping raise the profile of Trent & Dove through the implementation and coordination of Digital Marketing and communications activities. You will also have responsibility for overseeing our external online brand presence, digital content creation, and management.

As a Digital Marketing Lead you will also have responsibility for the content on our website, intranet, social media and partner websites, as part of a small team, reporting to our Head of Communications.

We aim to develop our digital strategy and engage users through compelling digital content that communicates our core proposition and narrative. You must have a passion for website design, analytics, content, creative digital features, and new technologies.

You will be a key member of the communications team and will have the ability to grow and develop so, natural curiosity is essential!

About the Digital Marketing Lead role

You will:

• Create, coordinate and deliver the creative content and functionality of the website and intranet, and microsites, including design, copywriting, and content, within our brand guidelines.
• Proactively ensure website copy is current and up to date.
• Build relationships develop appropriate web content to promote the use of new digital and social media.
• Work with IT to develop and maintain a regular and effective training programme and develop and evaluate our website architecture and navigation to ensure a high-quality user experience.
• Maintain and create content for blogs, news, video and social channels.
• Review and monitor the effectiveness of our online marketing and promotional activity, providing regular reports and analysis on web and digital media usage and trends.
• Provide advice to colleagues on best practices.
• Support & represent Trent & Dove at internal and external events.

• Be involved in corporate communication initiatives and projects and support the Head of Communications to deliver our communications plan, tasks for key projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in Digital Marketing or communications

• Proficient in Digital Marketing tools and platforms.
• Strong understanding of web architecture, navigation, and user experience.
• Excellent copywriting skills and experience producing accessible digital content.
• Experience in managing and optimizing social media channels.

• Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and flexibly, with excellent teamwork skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
