The Role
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Officer to join our friendly team. Adept in social media and passionate about digital content, we seek a skilled communicator to lead on the Wyre Forest Economic Development and Regeneration (WFEDR's) digital engagement work, producing and sharing captivating content which promotes and publicises our services, activities, and achievements.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of delivering successful Digital Marketing campaigns who can develop content across WFEDR’s social media channels and web estate with a particular focus on promoting the area to visitors and investors and showcasing the Future High Street Fund, Levelling Up and UK Shared Prosperity Fund programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team, managing multiple communication projects and championing WFEDR web standards.
Knowledge and Skills
- Degree level education in Public Relations, Marketing, Business or a similar relevant discipline
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful Digital Marketing activity with a clear understanding of how to develop and improve on existing Digital Marketing channels.
- Previous experience in Digital Marketing and communications
- Analytics experience to monitor performance and recommend suggested improvements
- Excellent communication skills
- A natural storytelling ability, you’ll have a keen eye for finding and developing engaging, inspirational content
- Demonstrable experience in managing multiple communications projects
- Demonstrable skills and experience in writing high quality copy
- Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team
- Keen collaborator who’s great at building connections both on and offline with WFEDR’s partners and key stakeholders
- Ability to adapt quickly to challenges
- Good time management, planning and organising skills
Special Conditions
Working hours are 37 per week with the opportunity for hybrid working.
Flexible approach to working hours, able to work outside normal office hours if necessary, including a requirement to be available for evening meetings.
You may be required to provide a suitable vehicle in connection with the duties of this post.
