Position:Digital Network Lead

Job Summary: As a Digital Network Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the secure and efficient operation of our network infrastructure based on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies. You will lead a site-based team, managing incidents, service requests, and project works in adherence to industry best practices and compliance with policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Professional/Technical Management:
- Lead and manage a site-based team to address incidents, service requests, and project works.
- Implement and support technical solutions across the organisation.
- Monitor and maintain existing network infrastructure, implement new solutions, and develop technical documentation.
- Lead a team of permanent staff, overseeing recruitment and supervision of temporary resources.
- Ensure a strong and competent team with effective delegation and communication.
- Monitor and contribute to digital services budgets, working with third-party suppliers and the procurement team.
- Interpret complex statistical information regarding clinical systems performance.
- Provide technical input to third-party suppliers regarding development and integration requirements.
Planning and Organisation:
- Strictly adhere to ITIL-based change management control processes.
- Negotiate priorities regarding infrastructure and clinical systems with senior management.
Requirements & qualifications:
- Good standard of general education, ideally with a relevant first-class BA degree.
- CCNA qualification or equivalent knowledge of Cisco systems and technologies
- ITIL v3 or ITIL4 Foundation Certificate.
- PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in a Network engineering role
- Experience in an IT service management environment
- Understanding of enterprise networking environments.
