What is the role about?The
Digital Platform Executive will support a small, expert team in delivering outcomes set by the Head of
Digital Platform and Product Innovation Team. They will be responsible for delivering aspects on the digital delivery strategy, which will be owned by the Head of
Digital Platform. They will work on projects relating to the Career Transition Partnership (CTP)
Digital Platform, varying in size and scope, with objectives and deliverables determined at the outset of each new project. Work will be focused digital product development activity designed to enhance the CTP service.Digital product development will centre on the use of technology to deliver efficiency and respond to contract requirements. The role will include researching new technologies and ways of working to improve the service for our customers and the MOD, and then working with stakeholders and partners to develop the platform to enhance service delivery. You will be required to regularly work with other departments and workstream leads, notably Group IT, Product Innovation, Continuous Improvement, and Operations during product and service development projects.
Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Supporting Head of Digital Platform to deliver digital development strategy.
- Monitor, review and maintain the CTP platform content ensuring details of courses, job/vocational opportunities, workshops, support services, CTP service features and contact details are up to date.
- Conduct spot checks of vacancies of Digital Platform to ensure viability and suitability for Service Leavers.
- Manage and review uptake of digital sector pathways.
- Monitor QR code functionality, ensuring codes link to the latest version of information, documentation and course materials on our CTP Digital Platform and CTP website.
- Responsible for the JML process for registering Service Leavers with Digital Platform
- Research and analysis for Product and Service Development projects, producing summary reports and conclusions. Including researching customer trends and behaviours and development of knowledge of suitable products available on the market
- Supporting activity linked to the product lifecycle for both new and existing CTP products - identification, research, development, implementation and continuous improvement
- Working within a framework of Product Development and contributing to improvements to the methodology
- Contribution and input into innovative product ideas to support delivery of CTP
- Collating feedback from users of existing products and writing reports with recommendations of updates and improvements to enhance the user experience and increase usage.
- Collating feedback for success stories
- Liaising with internal (e.g. Product Innovation, Continuous Improvement, Operations) and external (e.g. developers) stakeholders to achieve and progress project objectives
- Designing, delivering and evaluating new training for staff where required
- Supporting with testing and evaluation of testing of new products and services
- Attending external and internal events where required
- Completing multiple assigned tasks to strict deadlines

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:- Evidence of working within a Project Management environment
- Strong IT skills
- Strong Excel and data manipulation skills and the ability to find data trends and provide analytical commentary
- Excellent oral and written communication with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and thoroughly in formal written communications to a very high standard
- Experience in the delivery of complex information to teams in presentation and/or training sessions/briefings
