This is a fully remote role, with rare travel required for site visits/ meetings. What is the role about?The
Head of Digital Platform, working as part of a specialist team, will be responsible for the management of the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) digital solution and future development and integration with MOD systems. They will own the relationship with the digital provider and the end-to-end digital product development cycle. They will own, implement, and review the digital delivery strategy for the CTP. Digital product development will centre on the use
of Digital technology to deliver efficiency and respond to contract requirements. The role will include researching new technologies and ways of working to improve the service for our customers and the MOD, then working with stakeholders and partners to develop the platform to enhance service delivery.A key element of the role with be the working alongside the Product Innovation team to identify and develop products needed for the contract; and our operational teams to identify where innovation and digital product development could improve the service.
Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Owner of relationship and single point of contact with Digital Provider.
- Ensuring any commissioner/performance KPIs relating to the CTP Digital Platform are met.
- Leading and developing a small team of Digital Platform Executives to implement the CTP Digital Delivery strategy.
- Maintaining and updating Digital Platform with latest technology and CTP content
- Oversee coordination between Reed Support functions including IT, Operations, Business Intelligence, Continuous Improvement and Marketing to manage and continuously improve content and functionality.
- Work with the Training Course Manager and Digital Provider to review and update the Training Course Catalogue in the Digital Platform.
- Work with Head of Employer Services to plan and upload new job vacancies.
- Work with MOD to support ongoing integration with their systems supported by Reed's IT and Infrastructure and Security Teams.
- Managing the Change Request process with MOD for significant system changes
- Research and learn to gain a deep understanding of the customer, competitive landscape & products, legislation, and future industry technological developments.
- Identifying and developing strategic partnerships with organisations specialised in creating the products required.
- Working alongside Product Innovation and Continuous Improvement to identify requirements for the contract, researching the solutions required.
- Working with the current operational teams and wider business to identify new requirements for the service, developing new digital solutions through to implementation. Championing both customer and business feedback, using both sources to drive continuous innovation.
- Working in partnership with Reed Group IT to understand, utilise and develop the current Reed Group product portfolio to meet CTP requirements.
- Attending internal risk assessment meetings.
- Overseeing the product management of the catalogue of Digital products, ensuring further development to improve efficiency or services via a structured review process.
- Horizon scanning future contract requirements and developing strategies on how to respond to the future changing needs of the customer and MOD.
- Ensure Continuous Improvement strategies are embedded across all digital product implementation activity so that lessons are learnt after each product development to improve flexibility and responsiveness in future innovations.
