Head Of Digital

Adecco Public Sector are proud to be working in partnership with a large charity to recruit a innovative and ambitious Head of Digital on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

Full time opportunity with hybrid working available

Based in London

Salary: circa £63,000k

As the Head of Digital you will be instrumental in driving the vision for digital and leading the adoption of user centred practice across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new and existing products that will improve the experience for the people this organisation supports.

You will lead the delivery of initiatives within the digital and IT strategy including the provision of Digital inclusion support, engagement with services to identify how digital can enhance support services, development of a new wellbeing product and redesigning some key internal processes. Providing strategic direction across the digital domestic abuse portfolio including Online Safe Spaces, apps and websites, and Respond to Abuse tools for employers.

The postholder will manage and develop the Digital team, providing coaching and opportunities for the team to develop. You will be responsible for recruiting new roles to build and develop a multi-functional team.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience of managing digital, product or service design projects through all stages of the lifecycle.


• Experience of delivering change and leading complex organisational programmes, projects, and product portfolio preferably in a health and/or social care organisation.


• Demonstrable experience in a leadership role in at least one of the following areas: service design, user research and/or design, product development and management.


• A collaborative approach with the ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders including external partners and suppliers and internal stakeholders.


• Experience in developing business cases with the ability to manage and negotiate budgets.
