Are you on board?
As our Head of Digital Delivery you will own the digital Portfolio, Programme and Project Management function within LNER, ensuring that projects are identified and delivered in an achievable portfolio to time and within budget. You'll be responsible for organising and delivering the overall LNER digital portfolio, as well as its associated projects, to deliver the digital elements of the LNER transformation strategy.
Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the business can successfully deliver against its digital capex commitments and create a consulting based, delivery orientated culture with motivated teams and satisfied stakeholders. In addition to this, you will own LNERs Technology Board and processes, including project delivery and implementation of the processes across the digital team functions and the supporting wider business as and where required. This will include working with cross functional teams and technology platforms to deliver the systems and changes required from concept to delivery.
Managing a team of project managers, business analysts and testing resource you will ensure projects are scoped correctly, resourced and budgeted appropriately, and running as expected, having end to end responsibility for the successful project delivery and changes being implemented.
What you'll need:
We are looking for someone who has previously worked within a digital leadership role and has proven experience in driving digital business change and leading large teams. You'll also need:
- Ability to manage and lead a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- Business focused with an air of creativity.
- Business development and negotiation experience.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- Strong collaborative skills, team player.
- Strong people leadership track record.
- EFQM/Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience of dealing with complex problems and creating simple solutions.
- Portfolio Delivery experience, preferably within a change delivery function.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, cost tracking, benefits tracking and preparation of Benefits Cases.
