- Lead and transform marketing communications across all 17 Diageo brands, increasing effectiveness and return on investment through paid media, digital (data, paid social, search, eComm, DTC/websites, digital display), and owned/earned channels (influencers, talent and content)
- Lead and navigate the evolving cultural and media landscape, being adaptable, advising the business on how to adapt and leverage emerging trends. Craft a test-and-learn agenda that identifies new consumer connection opportunities, driving successful business outcomes.
- Present strategies, results and opportunities to senior management on a regular basis. Be comfortable dealing with challenge and requesting additional resources when needed
- Provide investment recommendations for the full Diageo portfolio and supervise performance/optimization to drive business growth (increased Vol, LT GP, and return on investment).
- Responsible for all GB media & digital investment aligning with the Diageo marketing & digital code and adheres to LPA+ regulations setting up new processes where appropriate to handle reputational risk
- Lead the measurement and evaluation agenda to ensure all paid and earned activity has a validated impact on business performance including influencer marketing, PR and content.
- Work closely with the Marketing Leadership Team to ensure omnichannel readiness, delivering world-class experiences across every physical and digital touchpoint: ensure all Diageo paid (media & digital), earned (influencer marketing, PR, talent and content) and owned (websites, owned assets) are seamlessly connected and deliver consistent world class physical and digital consumer experiences
- Actively drive the "creativity with precision" agenda, delivering data-driven personalization at scale across all brands using Diageo's 1PD and seeking 3PD opportunities.
- Provide leadership and council on Diageo investment across retail media, e-commerce channels and DTC paid media activations to achieve the business’ commercial ambition
- Build strong and effective relationships with other internal functions such as procurement, legal, CR to ensure all GB media & digital plans are aligned to the Diageo marketing code and are business compliant
- Own and lead strategic relationships with key agency partners, managing resource needs, scoping work, contracts, and fees to achieve business goals.
- Lead strategic relationships with media owners and tech partners, collaborating at a senior level to enhance value and follow standard processes
- Manage the Diageo GB tech stack, partnering with the Global digital factory team to choose solutions that optimize market results
- Manage and develop the careers of 8 specialists across media & digital, PR & influencer and earned
- 10+ years of proven experience delivering impactful strategies through media, digital, PR within agencies or client organizations.
- Demonstrated track record of tangible business results achieved through campaign execution and optimization.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of current trends and innovations in media, tracking, analytics, and research.
- Experience working on large portfolio businesses is beneficial but not essential.

- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of media measurement methodologies and execution across all paid and earned channels.
- Adept at crafting 1PD & 3PD strategies that deliver efficiencies and effectiveness
- Experience designing audience strategies powered by data across media planning, buying, and measurement.
