Job description
There are five Director of Operations posts within Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust (LTHT). The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of high quality clinical services and will support a number of Clinical Service Units (CSUs) in the delivery of the Trust objectives, with a particular focus on achievement against the agreed CSU Delivery Contracts. The Post holder will be pivotal in supporting the delivery of the Trusts Operational Strategy and Annual Commitments, leading specific programmes on behalf of the COO. They will also have a significant leadership role in operational preparedness for Building the Leeds Way.
This role requires individuals who are driven, ambitious and passionate about patient care, and who have a desire to influence at the highest levels working in close partnership with senior clinical and managerial staff. To succeed in this role, candidates need to be able to build confidence across the organisation and CSUs as well as with external partners.
