This could be the role for you…

We’re looking for a Director of Sales to join our team at the Holiday Inn London Shepperton!

You’ll be Responsible for the development and execution of a pro-active strategic approach to sales across the group including accommodation, F&B, wedding and events. In doing so create a high performing sales team that secures and develops new business, while growing existing accounts for the hotels and residential properties in order to drive incremental sales and exceed the expectations of the business. What will you be doing as a Director of Sales

  • Provide exceptional strategic business leadership to drive superior business results.
  • Lead the development of a driven passionate high performing team to that influence property level sales in order to exceed annual account goals.
  • Partner with strategic assets such as exhibition centres, tourism drivers in geographical location to maximise exposure and sales for hotels.
  • Sets the direction through the development and execution of a sales plan for hotel team that becomes the roadmap to drive sales and exceed target.
  • Builds strong, supportive relationships with the hotel and wider KGH Sales and operations team
  • Consults, inspires and enables the team to deliver stunning results with energy, creativity and enthusiasm
  • 50% Account Management / 50% new business activity
  • Ensure the defined accounts deliver both retention and growth revenue targets for identified market positioned hotels via direct relationships.
  • Development of lapsed, and new pipeline accounts across all B2B segments
  • Effectively communicate results from the agreed activity and revenue generation
  • Social Media and content: liaise with marketing company, provide content of events to showcase and promote the hotel overall.
  • Be fully engaged with Storyboard strategy: Promoting live events, outdoor space focus Live events calendar reminders, Local attractions / travel links, Event space, Wedding showcase, local wakes, proms and Charity events.

 

What will make you a great fit?

  • Understanding of the Hospitality sector
  • Be innovative and creative, the sky is the limit.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • High level of business/commercial acumen and strategic planning
  • Strong IT Skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Having good knowledge of social media, film & media and sports is an advantage
  • Demonstrable track record in Business Development and Account Management with ability to grow market share and account penetration as well as incrementally
