Job Description
The DEI manager is responsible for the development and facilitation of the European diversity strategy, working in partnership with the global DEI team and the European Executive team to drive inclusive growth
Accountabilities
- The DEI manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the DEI strategy across all European sites. The DEI manager will collaborate with HR and business partners to drive inclusive growth and to implement strategies that ensure our employee population reflects the communities we serve.
- The role will be responsible for pro-actively managing DEI issues and acting as the subject matter expert to senior executives on all diversity, Equity and Inclusion matters.
- Leveraging diversity analytics the DEI manager will advise HR partners and key business leaders on the development and delivery of best practices for recruitment, retention and development.
- The role will be responsible for the implementation of any regulatory DEI requirements across the full European footprint such as implementing new diversity legislation or regulations, thus a good understanding of both the legal and regulatory DEI and cultural context across all of Europe is required.
- The DEI manager will use diversity analytics to track progress against internal or external benchmarks and partner with subject matter experts to compile submissions such as Women in Finance and Gender Pay reports across European countries.
- Collaboration with our Business Resource Groups to ensure that inclusion efforts are aligned with the overall strategy, whilst permitting the BRG’s to act autonomously on inclusion initiatives will also be a key priority for the role.
Technical Competencies for your role
- The role requires a good understanding of both legislation and regulations concerning DEI. Further a deep understanding of the cultural context across all of Europe will also be required to proactively manage DEI issues
- A proven track record and ability in devising an effective strategy, gaining executive sponsorship and implementing practical solutions.
- HR/Legal qualification although not essential is preferred.
