Due to the creation of a new post, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager to lead and implement strategies and projects promoting equality and inclusivity across all levels of this high profile London based organisation. This role is for a two year fixed term contract.

Description
The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager will play a key role in implementing EDI strategy and action plan, acting a subject matter expert on all EDI matters.
Your duties will include:
- Contributing to the review and refresh of EDI strategy by providing expertise and advice on EDI best practice.
- Developing a clear roadmap of activities, with set metrics and milestones to implement and EDI Action Plan.
- Carrying out Equality Impact Assessments and policy reviews as required.
- Providing EDI expertise to support procurement tenders, response reviews and supply chain contracts to ensure supply are delivering against their EDI and social value obligations.
- Co-ordinating all EDI reporting activities, producing reports on a regular basis and identifying areas for improvement.
Profile
The successful Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager will have up to date knowledge of the Equality Act (2010), specifically Public Sector Equality Duty, with proven experience of developing and implementing EDI strategies, strategies and policies. It is essential that you are able demonstrate your delivery of EDI programmes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed for this role as well as previous experience of delivering training/workshops to a wide audience on EDI.
Ideally you will have worked in a similar role within a complex project, programme or organisation.
This is a fixed term contract for two years open to either full time or part time working.
Job Offer
A salary c.£55,000 plus an excellent benefits including discretionary bonus, hybrid working and 30 days holiday.
