Job description

Salary: £49,890 - £58,710 per annum

The BFI is looking for an experienced Inclusion Manager to oversee and execute the strategic vision for inclusion and diversity within their organisation and the wider film industry, utilising strong leadership and project management skills in order to deliver these aims effectively.  This role will ensure that all initiatives align with the BFI’s commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive film culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver activity relating to the Inclusion strategy for inclusion and diversity, aligning with the BFI’s corporate strategy, mission and values.
  • Manage the delivery of strategic initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion throughout the film industry by setting clear objectives, performance indicators, and long-term goals to measure progress.
  • Responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of inclusion programs and projects, leading with established project management structures, clear governance, clear milestones and accountable management of risk
  • Monitor and report on the progress and impact of this activity, using quantitative and qualitative insights for continuous improvement
  • Deputise for the Director of Inclusion in their absence

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A proven track record of leadership in the field of inclusion and diversity, preferably within the film or creative industries.
  • Strong network within the film industry and the ability to establish and nurture partnerships.
    Deep understanding of current issues and best practices in inclusion, access and diversity, particularly within the film and television industry.
  • Significant experience of successful strategic delivery including strong project and change management skills.
  • Experience of successfully delivering end to end project/programme management including defining resources, securing project teams and matrix management across multiple projects/programmes.
