Document Controller

Document Controller Stockport Construction Immediate Start Contract Up to GBP18per hour.
Client and role.
A well renowned and respected main contractor with an excellent pipeline of work secured for the next 2 years, mainly in the new build care home sector and large new build social housing apartment blocks
They offer flexibility on the location of work, Opportunities to work a mix of Office, On-Site and Work form home available. This is a contract role with opportunity for long term placement or potential permanent role in the future.
Duties
• Regular monitoring and assisting with auditing the system and its users to ensure it is being used effectively.
• Assist the teams in generating/preparing all required reports
• Quality assurance checking of incoming drawings/documents
• The issuing of drawings & information for construction purposes.
• Downloading & printing of drawings from the system for review where required
• Responsible for the general day to day management of the document control system
• Maintaining internal drawing registers.
• General uploading of documentation where required
• Assisting the team with generating/formatting design deliverables schedules and drawing logs
Candidate
• Experience using Procore or Viewpoint/Fieldview Desirable
• Document Control experience within either Construction, Architectural or Engineering industries
• Previous experience as a Document Controller within a construction environment - Desirable
