An exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor in the Nottingham region. As a major UK contractor my client has a diversified workload in the public, regulated and private sectors. My client enjoys a turnover of c£500 million.
About The Role:
•Establishing, owning and maintaining document management processes and strategy for our Industry team including ensuring compliance across multiple projects.
•Working with the Project Managers and engineering teams to plan and execute the delivery of information to ensure deadlines are achieved, and reporting performance against this.
•Monitoring document management team and processes to ensure the project teams comply with all requirements, including quality performance checks, management, and effective resolution of issues through the project teams.
•Working closely with project management community to ensure document control process are adhered to and improvements identified and implemented.
•Controlling information flows internally and externally in accordance with the document management requirements, including formal issuing and receipt of documents and maintaining appropriate registers.
•Working with various internal and client electronic document systems, and various document and drawing types.
•Coordinating document review and approval workflows with the project teams.
About You:
•Previous experience as a Document Controller
•Previous experience with a Tier 1 Main Contractor
•Nottingham – 1 hour commute
