The Document Controller will be part of the Design Team function and be responsible for providing document control support within the programme, reporting to the Project Manager. Knowing all of these skills are not necessary you will be reporting into a Senior Document Controller who will be able to help train.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting configuration of the Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
* Managing the delivery of Documents within the EDMS.
* Producing and maintaining the Document Management processes, procedures and templates as part of the
* Programme Delivery Management System.
* Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player as a member of the partnership delivering the programme.
* Communicating ideas for improving processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
* Providing notification of Risks, Issues and Mitigating actions within the Project Controls function. * Ensuring partner and subcontractors understand the Document Management Standards and are aware of the Client's expectations in relation to maximising the value of information.
* Provision of Document Management Reports against the Master Information Delivery Plan. It would be beneficial if relevant experience in document control in a similar project environment with a construction or consultancy background along with experience of design and engineering projects.
