The role
As a Document Controller, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will document and standardise all end-to-end processes, which combine to create robust Quality and Business Management systems. Updating existing process maps to support the establishment of Business Management Systems / Quality Management Systems and when required working with internal teams to create new ones.
Day to day, you will develop and implement effective and practical change management, communication strategies and plans to ensure that the processes are fully embedded, are continuously used and delver benefit within the working practices of the organisation.
- Taking ownership for the development and on-time delivery of final deliverables.
- Working alongside the quality team to align activity and assist the Head of Quality to develop and manage the overall Engineering and Systems Integration plan, contributing process specific elements to that plan.
- Protect the information assets of the company and comply with the company's Information Assurance policies and procedures at all times.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with a minimum of 3 days per week on site at our Walsall site.
Essential experience of the Document Controller
- SharePoint knowledge/experience
- Document controller experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements is desirable
- Knowledge of using Visio for process maps is desirable
Qualifications for the Document Controller
- GCSE level 7-9 English or equivalent
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
