We have been awarded a new contract to provide functional health and disability assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in Southeast England, London, and East Anglia. This new service is set to launch in 2024 and will run for five years.
This contract replaces the current multi-provider setup with a single health and disability assessment provider in each area of the country, bringing together Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Health and Disability Assessment Services (HDAS) contracts into one comprehensive service to deliver functional health and disability assessments for all benefits that require one.
The PMO Document Controller will maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
The postholder will ensure quality of service and confidentiality requirements are met by handling delegated tasks within appropriate parameters, tracking, and progressing many priorities and liaising as necessary with staff throughout the programme and with outside organisations as defined by the Head of PMO / Programme Director.
What you'll be doing as a Document Controller
- Maintain Data Room Due Diligence tracker to ensure overview of all documentation received from the Authority
- Quality check each document received and ensure that embedded files are accessible to stakeholders
- Coordinate the timely distribution of materials across sub programmes
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; and maintain a good working relationship with external stakeholders
- Organise and plan own work activities to ensure that quality of work is always maintained and is undertaken by effective and safe methods, using own initiative in a flexible and appropriate way in respect of all duties and responsibilities
- Provide efficient and professional administrative support, working as part of the team, adhering to customer care standards complying with legislation and policies, procedures, and practices in line with Data Protection
- Prioritise a range of tasks allocated to contribute to the effectiveness of the workflow
- Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to meet the needs of the PMO/Programme
