Document Controller - Belfast

We are in search of a seasoned Document Controller to form an integral part of our large-scale construction project in Belfast. This role is vital in managing, securing, and overseeing the flow of important site documentation. As a key member of our team, your contribution will be essential in maintaining our reputation for delivering top-tier projects.
The successful candidate will be charged with ensuring that all documents are correctly organised, distributed and managed throughout the tendering process, from initial request through to contract award.

Experience in a similar document role is essential, while experience with 4P would be very beneficial.
Exposure to a construction working environment would also advantageous, but not necessary.
The Document Controller shall;
- Be responsible for Document Control activities on the Project
- Check documents received from external parties to ensure compliance with our requirements
- Ensure all project information is up to date and distributed to relevant recipients. Managing both hard copy and electronic versions of information
- Act as an Administrator of our Electronic Document Management Systems (Viewpoint 4Projects).
- Liaise with external Document Controllers as necessary to implement information transfer protocols
- Manage EDMS stakeholder / user protocols and access levels on any given project
- Assist in the production of O&M Manuals and other documentation for project handover
- Assist with production of reports and documents as required
- Assist to ensure office environment is maintained to a high standard
- Provide occasional support & training to construction project users as required
