Your new role
Our client is looking for a skilled Document Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the intake, handling, and storage of documentation for a number of different projects happening at one time. You will ensure that all documents are checked, scanned, and photocopied, and that organisational documentation is stored safely and securely. You will also write reports, archive materials, and ensure seamless document access across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct document audits
Ensure revised documents are accessible
Assist with communication during external audits
Edit various documents and ensure they are up to company and contractor standards.
Conform to company specifications and documentation procedures
Ensure proper organisation and security of documents
Oversee a document throughout its entire lifecycle
Check and edit documents and prepare for distribution
Create document filing and organising systems that are both effective and efficient
Log document requests and retrieve documents as needed
Distribute documents to relevant recipients
Confirm delivery of documents to proper personnel
Ad hoc administration duties
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following:
Proven experience in business management, administration, or related field
Proven skill for creating and implementing controlled document processes
Extremely organised and efficient
Ability to work well under pressure and have impressive stress management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proclivity for catching errors and enacting appropriate changes
Outstanding time-management
Strong interpersonal skills
