Driver/Warehouse Operative

Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Driver/Warehouse Operative for a well-established company based in Watford. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress within a busy environment

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to and from designated locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and securement.
• Perform deliveries and collections in a timely manner, adhering to delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and organizing inventory.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding health and safety.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in driving and warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work variable hours and weekends as needed
