Duty Manager - Premium Fitness Club

I am looking for a dutyoperations manager to work for a leading leisure brand in Stevenage. The 5000-member Premium Fitness Club has outstanding facilities for its family focused clientele including a large gym, pool, spa facilities and studios with onsite creche, clubroom and children's clubs. As one of three heads of department reporting into the GM you will play a pivotal role in the day to day running of the club . Your key areas will be to manage the front of house teams and to oversee the grab and go food offer within the club. Key responsibilities include:

• Carry out four duty management shifts, open and closing the club.
• Recruitment and ongoing coaching and development of front of house and hospitality teams.
• Responsible for stock takes, ordering and standards within the grab and go operation.
• Responsible for rotas, recruitment and training of your teams.
• Working with the contract cleaning contractors to ensure consistent delivery of Service Level Agreements.
• Creating and implementing department action and improvement plans where required.

We are keen to talk to candidates who:

• Have experience in F and B and FOH as a Duty Manager/team leader, ideally in leisure or hospitality.
• Have a genuine passion and interest for health and fitness and are engaged in a healthy lifestyle.
• Are willing to work a combination of shifts including one weekend in two and both early and late shifts between 5.45am and 10.15pm

In addition to a basic salary of 26K, there is a bonus potential of up to 1K paid out every 4 months, with an annual bonus structure in place.
