Centre Duty Supervisor
Community Services
36 hours a week
18 month fixed term
2 roles available
Our Centres for the Community are valued across Elmbridge. They offer services, activities and social interaction for many elderly people in our community, as well as providing a venue for local activity groups.
To ensure the safe operation of our Centres for the Community, we are hiring two Duty Supervisors who will be fully responsible for the safe operation of the Centres, primarily during opening hours when volunteers, clients, hiring groups, contractors and other members of the community are present.
You will ensure all clients, particularly those with higher levels of vulnerability, are in a safe, welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable environment.
Your ability to work effectively in a busy, client facing service will be important, as well as your time management and ability to prioritise and to resolve any problems that may arise.
You will be based at any of the Centres for the Community within the borough – Hersham, Weybridge, Walton, Cobham, Molesey and Claygate.
You will be working with a dedicated team, committed to doing their best for the older and vulnerable people in our community.
