Job description
This dynamic, boutique investment firm in Mayfair is hiring an EA to support their two senior Partners with some minor support for the wider team (mainly travel). This is a new role in the business and will give you lots of scope to develop and grow if you want it! Working for two highly dynamic partners who are fantastic to work for they are specialists in their field and will need a highly competent, detail driven career EA with proven skills in managing their constantly changing and busy calendars, inbox management and lots of travel. As the team travel extensively across multiple time zones you will need to have a real aptitude for planning and arranging travel and all the logistics around this and you will need to have excellent attention to detail, be highly proactive and think outside the box. The role will suit a career EA who has intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand the business and deliver exceptional levels of support. The team are great to work with and it is a really lovely office with a welcoming and supportive team who are happy to be led by their EA. If you are a self-starter and a confident team player with excellent emotional intelligence to read changing situations and act in the best way for each situation you will really love this role. The ideal candidate will need to have circa five years of experience and at least 1-2 years’ experience in a private equity or financial services firm and a real skill for logistics!
As this is a boutique firm the role will suit someone who has ‘small company mentality’ who enjoys a varied role which has lots of moving parts and will require someone who is all about providing solutions to problems and finding ways to work better but not change the status quo for the sake of it. This is a really interesting role where the EA’s really muck in and support each other and where there is no hierarchy so everyone gets along and helps each other out. There is lots of opportunity to grow in the firm and the team rely heavily on their EA to manage them so you will need to have drive, energy, enjoy providing a high level of support and be an EA who can use their initiative, pre-empt and stay one step ahead of the team.
