Early Talent Development Lead - People Team - Successful Accountancy Firm - City of London / Hybrid - up to £50k + benefits
We’re looking for an extremely knowledgeable Early Talent Development Leadto join the People team of a highly successful accountancy firm based near Cannon Street.
The Early Talent Development Lead will be an integral cog to the business, where the overall aim of the role is to ensure that all Trainees within the company receive the correct professional training and to implement and evaluate relevant development activities to support both individual and company development.
We’re looking for individuals with extensive knowledge of all financial qualification paths and options, who can be the internal expert on the requirements of financial professional institutions.
You will onboard all trainees in a professional and engaging manner - building the relationships with all trainees from acceptance of offer to start date and manage the induction weeks that run twice yearly. Managing the career development of trainees will be your passion, which in turn will enable the organisation to become a market leader in this space.

Our client is offering a competitive salary (up to £50k) and benefits package, together with hybrid working (2 days/week at home) and standard hours of 9.30am - 5.30pm.
Key responsibilities as the Early Talent Lead will include:
- Being the Early Talent Professional Qualifications Expert within the company
- Being the internal expert on the requirements of all financial professional institutes
- Building successful relationships with the professional bodies
- Managing the relationship with the current training provider
- Developing and communicating relevant information internally to ensure awareness of development options
- Managing Apprenticeship Levy
- Helping to ensure that all trainees keep institute records up to date and monitor practical work experience logs and ethics assessments
- Supporting all junior talent in their formal development and ensuring exams are booked
- Managing communication and impact of exam results professionally
- Managing the onboarding process for trainers including building relationships from acceptance of offer to start date, creating initiatives and social events
- Managing the induction week, twice per year
- Managing the talent management and career development programmes
- Supporting D&I training and education programmes

What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar Early Talent development role or a training provider specialising in the profession of Early Talent Development
- Specialist / expert knowledge of all relevant qualification paths (ACCA, ACA, CFAB, CTA, AAT and ATT)
- Extensive knowledge of the requirements of the ICAEW, CIOT, ATT, ACCA and AAT professional institutions
- Working knowledge of the People processes in a corporate environment
- Understanding and experience of key legal requirements relating to relevant legislation, particularly with regards to discrimination and immigration regulations
- Demonstrable skill at connecting with trainees in order to provide them with a safe space to share concerns and feel supported
- Highly organised nature with the ability to support numerous colleagues and departments at any one time
- Impeccable communication skills with a warm and personable nature
- Ability to instil confidence and credibility at all levels
- IT literate
- Creative thinker with the desire to improve and develop
