Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and creativity
- Observe and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's achievements, challenges, and overall well-being
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents or guardians, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Patience, empathy, and understanding of children's emotional needs and well-being
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of children and the learning environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work well under pressure
Qualifications:
- At least a Level 3 in Childcare (£12.10 per hour)
- Level 2 in Childcare (£11.44 per hour)
