This role is full time and permanent. The EY team has a hybrid working model with both remote and office-based working. Attendance in person at the office (in the Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, E8 1DY) is at least two days per week.
Early Years Entitlement Funding, Payments and Monitoring Team
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Early Years Entitlement Funding, Payments and Monitoring Team which is part of the wider Early Years, Early Help and Wellbeing Service. The team is responsible for conducting the termly data collection process from Early Years Providers and administering the Early Entitlement Funding for two-, three- and four-year-olds, the Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP), Disability Access Fund (DAF) and Inclusion funding.
In addition, the role includes monitoring of Early Years providers to ensure compliance with funding agreements.
The Role
This is an exciting and rewarding role which can be fast-paced and demanding at times particularly when required to meet deadlines for census returns and making financial payments. The successful applicant will also provide support, guidance and advice for settings and childminders in relation to completing census returns. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with different stakeholders.
Ideally you will have experience working with databases and spreadsheets and have a good understanding of digital information systems, be comfortable working in a busy, client -facing service alongside having the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
