Superscript is on the lookout for a Compliance Monitoring professional to join and assist our Head of Compliance in the development and execution of the Compliance Monitoring plan.
This newly created role is an amazing opportunity to make a huge impact within the business, to work independently, have input into the design of the Compliance Monitoring plan and make the Compliance team bigger and better.
What you'll get up to:
- Assist with the management and delivery of all aspects of the Compliance Monitoring plan
- Conduct thorough Compliance Monitoring reviews, covering a range of activities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal standards
- Identify and analyse potential risks to the firm and report findings to the Head of Compliance, including any recommendations
- Prepare information on monitoring activity for relevant committees
- Provide general compliance advice to business stakeholders where required
- Identify and address compliance issues through proactive and regular monitoring
- Track recommendations and have regular check-ins with stakeholders owning them
- Maintain and keep up to date all monitoring reports and recommendations
- Prepare management information for senior management and the Risk and Compliance Committee
- Assist in identification of training needs within the business and providing recommendations to the client experience team
About you:
- Experience working in an FCA regulated firm, ideally in general insurance
- Previous experience in a Compliance Monitoring/internal audit role
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Confident in communicating compliance matters to a range of audiences
- Fantastic stakeholder management skills
- Regulatory knowledge of ICOBS, DISP, PERG, SYSC, CASS
- Some knowledge of claims handling and financial promotion rules
