A primary school in South Leeds are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner Level 3 to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of our nursery, working during school hours, Monday to Friday, and during term time only.
Key Responsibilities:
Child Development: Foster the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 2 to 5 years through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Curriculum Implementation: Implement a diverse and stimulating curriculum that aligns with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.
Observation and Assessment: Conduct regular observations and assessments to track children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and creating tailored plans.
Parental Engagement: Establish positive relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns or queries.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Proven experience working in an Early Years setting.
- Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
