Nigel Wright is delighted to be partnering with a consumer products company in their search for an Ecommerce Manager. This business is going through an exciting period of growth and is expanding their sales and account management team.
The Role
Based in Newcastle but with home working available, the Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for managing the relationships between the company and third party ecommerce retailers throughout Germany. Key responsibilities include managing the client relationship to drive strong trading performance. This role relies on developing strong relationships with client teams, so being a fluent German speaker and writer is essential. Key role responsibilities include;
- Business development in the German third party ecommerce retailer sector
- Negotiate commercial terms with key accounts, driving price and promotional strategies
- Negotiate trading terms with accounts
- Manage range reviews with clients to ensure products are correct for market and correlate with consumer research
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
The Person
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in ecommerce management in a consumer environment and must be fluent in both written and oral German and English. Key skills and experiences include;
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to build strong relationships with key account stakeholders
- Experienced in managing trading accounts
- Understanding of online marketing principles
- Analytically minded
Salary and Working Arrangement
- Basic salary up to £45,000.00
- Mainly remote working with occasional day in Newcastle head office (expensed).
