Signature Recruitment is partnering with a leading London university to find an Education Administrator. This temporary, full-time role offers an immediate start and will run for 3 months. There is a hybrid arrangement working 3 days on campus and 2 days from home, with flexibility needed for teaching coverage.
In this role as Education Administrator, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative support around on-campus and remote programmes. You’ll liaise closely with academic staff, manage student attendance, and contribute to the seamless operation of assessments and course delivery. Your responsibilities will also include managing enquiries, supporting event organisation, and maintaining student records. This role demands a proactive individual capable of juggling various tasks, from inbox management to updating educational platforms.
Education Administrator Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Education Manager and Co-ordinator in administrative tasks for on-campus and online postgraduate courses.
- Engage with teaching teams and fellows to facilitate teaching and assessments, and ensure high-quality student experiences.
- Handle student and course-related enquiries, including admissions, attendance, and compliance.
- Contribute to the marketing and promotion of courses, and assist in organising alumni events.
- Maintain and update course materials on the college’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), and support the induction of new students.
- Organise assessments, marking arrangements and exam preparation.
- Manage room bookings for teaching and meetings, and assist in maintaining records of teaching commitments.
Education Administrator Key Skills:
- Strong organisational and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and innovatively seek to improve processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in higher education administration preferred.
