Health & Safety professional required to join a hugely recognisable manufacturing & logistics business based in the North East.
This is a business with global reach, a stellar reputation & a world-class set of products available on the market.
Your tasks will include managing the distribution centre's EHS agenda including risk assessments, near-miss reporting, providing specialist advice on EHS subject matter and driving excellent training & awareness.
The role will focus on the site's distribution centre, rather than the manufacturing unit.
What's on offer?
- Salary circa £40,000
- 1 day per week working from home
- 25 days holiday (pro-rata)
- Monday to Friday hours
What will you need?
- Experience in Health & Safety or EHS/SHE/QHSE within logistics
- Ability to take on a primarily 6-month fixed term contract
- Charismatic approach to leading the EHS agenda
