The Electoral Services Assistant plays a vital role in managing electoral registration and ensuring the seamless execution of elections in Warwick District.
This position requires meticulous attention to detail to uphold the democratic process, ensuring it is accessible, operates efficiently, and adheres to existing electoral laws.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with electoral registration and manage registrations for absent voters.


• Support the organization and management of elections and referendums, focusing on booking and overseeing polling stations.


• Maintain and ensure adequate supply of polling station equipment and resources.


• Enhance communication and information management within the Electoral Services team.

Requirements:

• Foundation Certificate in Electoral Administration preferred.


• Good standard of education (A level/NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience).


• At least 2 years' working experience in a relevant field.


• Knowledge of electoral legislation, excellent communication skills, and ability to work flexibly outside ordinary hours.
