We are seeking an Estimator with electrical experience, and experience carrying out accurate project-based estimates to join their fast-growing team.
Job Summary
Carrying out estimates from in-depth site surveys for the installation of electric vehicle charging points and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Team, Surveyors, and Operations Support staff to put together accurate quotes and estimates for client installations, and will evaluate surveys and carry out estimates to a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Electrical 18th Edition (Essential)
- 2391 Test and Inspection (Desirable)
- 2919-01 EV Charger Course (Desirable)
Experience:
- A background in electrical installations
- 2 years' experience carrying out project estimates and working in a role within the construction industry
- Knowledge of building supplies, containment and LV switch rooms
- Experienced 3 phase distributions
Skills:
- Good I.T skills required, as Excel and PowerPoint will be used frequently
- Organisational skills as you will be assisting with the estimating of multiple projects at any one time
- Communication is key within our office, and when dealing with clients and suppliers as our representative.
- Good written and verbal skills
