We are delighted to be working with a highly backed, progressive business seeking their next Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support them in the next phase of growth, planned for 2024.
Working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you play a huge part in shaping best practice across the facility and ensuring a high quality, motivating work environment for you and your colleagues. Your day-to-day duties will be highly varied but could include, but not limited to:
- Ensure all Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality requirements are met.
- Developing and delivering planned maintenance plans to plant and equipment.
- Ensuring that all electrical equipment is in safe working order in line with current regulations.
- Ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Ensure recording daily maintenance activity.
- Running an efficient repair reporting system.
- Purchasing and stock control of plant equipment spares and consumables.
- Champion continual improvement activity through the development team and act as a change agent for maintenance activities.
- Maintain a flexible approach to operations and undertake tasks for which he/she is technically competent.
- Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- 17th/18th Edition Qualification.
- Ability to work with a team and independently.
