SalaryOur client a leading Chemicals Manufacturing Business are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Trained Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their Electrical Engineering Team. This is a days-based position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities for the position will include:
- Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Electrical plant installation and modification
- Statutory inspections
- The use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
- Use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works
- Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems
Electrical Maintenance Technician - Requirements
- Educated to a minimum City & Guilds level 3 or similar in a practical Electrical discipline
- Ideally hold a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
- 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulation would be beneficial
- CompEx qualification would be extremely beneficial (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06)
- Previous experience of working within a COMAH registered facility would be highly desirable
- Strong understanding of ATEX requirements would be beneficial
