LED have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join their team. Working alongside another employee you will learn how an electrical wholesale business operates and get involved in managing new and existing stock, serving customers at the counter, general administration duties and answering telephone and email enquiries.
Annual wage
£17,888 - £23,920 per year depending upon experience
Working week
Working week is Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break (Occasional 4 hours on Saturdays which will be paid hourly).
Total hours per week: 40 hours a week
What will you be doing?
LED would like someone to join the team who they can help progress within the business. You will be supporting the sales team with answering telephone and email enquiries, unpacking and organising stock, serving customers and helping with general admin duties. As a small team your days will be filled with a variety of tasks and you’ll be liaising with other team members such as buyers, sales team and employees in accounts. Within time, once you become established within the business, your responsibilities can grow to manage some of your own business accounts.
Main Duties:
- Answering telephone calls and email enquiries
- Managing the stock room – helping unpacking stock, unloading vans
- General admin duties
- Counter sales
- Product sourcing

- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 9-4/A*-C) essential

Things to consider
Working week is Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm with 1 hour lunch break (occasional 4 hours on Saturdays which will be paid hourly) We would need you to work at least one Saturday morning a month.
