Working Electrical Surveyor
Location: London and South East
Salary: GBP45,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for a Working Electrical Surveyor to join their ever-expanding team. A big part of the role is to survey and complete electrical installations in domestic properties whilst reporting into the Head of Installations.
Responsibilities of the Working Electrical Surveyor:
· Carry out site surveys and compile materials list prior to planned installations.
· Carry out site surveys and compile materials list in response to reactive breakdowns.
· Wiring of heating systems including combi boilers and S/Y plan systems.
· Wiring and commissioning of smart heating controls.
· Wiring of Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps.
· Wiring of gas and oil boilers including associated ancillaries.
· General alterations and circuits.
· Installation of high heat retention electrical storage heaters.
· Installation of electrical panel heaters.
· Fault finding and electrical maintenance.
· Inspection and testing.
· Producing certifications.
· Health and Safety compliance.
Requirements of the Working Electrical Surveyor:
· Professional qualifications - City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations, 18th edition Wiring Regulations & 2391 Inspection & Testing.
· Proven track record of electrical experience (specifically in the wiring of heating systems and controls).
· Experience using electronic job management systems / PDA.
· Ability to work under your own initiative and part of a team.
· Desire to learn and develop skills / competencies.
· Full UK manual driving licence (no points ideally).
· Own hand tools and battery powered drills required.
