About the Employment Advisor role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to work as part of our Employment Team across London with an initial focus on Southwark.
You will be supporting people with a learning disability and/or autism into work, supporting people to develop their career goals and employability skills, engaging with employers, and maximising work experience and employment opportunities for people with a learning disability.
You will work closely with our pan-London supported employment team and work together and develop relationships with a range of partners including trusts and foundations, job centres, local community groups and services and other community providers across London.

We are looking for candidates with a commitment to improving the lives of adults with a learning disability and autistic adults using a flexible, innovative and person-centred approach to support people to develop a career path and gain employment.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities in relation to securing and keeping employment and working towards targets. To succeed in this role you will have the energy to engage with people, build productive working relationships and empower people to reach their potential.
