£26,520p.a. rising to £27,000p.a. after probation

The Company:
ER Recruitment is proud to be working with our client, a well-known business support organisation based in the East Midlands and recognised on a national scale who are looking for Employment Advisors to join their Employment Services department, where you will play a key role in helping people who have a health condition or disability, the long term unemployed and other specified disadvantaged groups find, enter and sustain work.
Role & Responsibilities of the Employment Advisor:

• To attract, register, support and progress programme participants.
• Use a variety of techniques to influence participants perception of working and therefore achieve sustainable employment, including effective diagnosis, coaching and training on a one-to-one or group basis, action planning and health & wellbeing support.
• Deliver the programme both in fixed locations, co-location sites and community venues, to ensure our services are accessible to all.
• Manage own workload/diary and adhere to deadlines.
• Work to and achieve strict sales targets.
• Help participants identify barriers and achieve a better lifestyle for themselves by pushing and promoting the benefits of being in paid work.

About You as the Employment Advisor:

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence
• A can-do, upbeat and energetic attitude.
• Self-motivated and looking for a unique challenge.
• Confident delivering employability support both one-to-one and in group settings.
• Excellent local knowledge of support services and employment opportunities.
• Able to show compassion and build rapport with participants.
• Able to motivate participants and support them to achieve their goals.
• Thrives on challenging targets.
• Passionate about helping people to achieve their potential.
• Be dependable, reliable, trustworthy and capable of exercising diplomacy.
