An outstanding secondary school in central Northampton is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team full-time from September 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is eager to inspire and make a difference in the lives of students.
Day to Day of the Role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in alignment with the national curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to support students’ academic growth and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
- In-depth understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
