We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate English teacher to join a dynamic school community in Northamptonshire.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Teach both English literature and language, fostering a love for both aspects of the subject.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Get the best out of all students of different abilities
- Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and attainment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and school events as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or expected to graduate with QTS by September 2024.
- Genuine passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students.
- Comfortable teaching both literature and language to students of varying abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
