Do you have extensive experience in hazardous chemical management? Do you come from a chemistry background? Are you comfortable working outside in a non-lab-based role? We are currently offering the opportunity for a new chemist to join an environmental-based company in Oxfordshire. Our client is seeking a new scientist to join their team in a leadership role.
The Role
As an Environmental Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with management of the hazardous chemical site,
- Conducting training of junior scientists,
- Maintenance of the hazardous chemical site,
- Ensuring that all health & safety procedures are accurately followed.
Skills and Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Extensive experience within the field of hazardous chemical management (essential)
- At least an HNC in Chemistry or a BSc in a Chemistry-related degree (essential)
- Existing UK work eligibility (essential)
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication & leadership skills (essential)
