We work with clients across various industries to integrate sustainability practices into their operations and enhance their ESG performance. As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analytics Consultant who specializes in ESG to join us in our mission to drive positive change.
As an ESG Data Analytics Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients leverage data to assess and improve their ESG performance. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting ESG-related data to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. By leveraging your expertise in Data Analytics and your deep understanding of ESG issues, you will develop actionable recommendations and strategies that enable our clients to enhance their sustainability efforts and drive positive social and environmental impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored ESG strategies and initiatives that align with their business objectives and sustainability goals
- Provide the leadership in shaping enterprise-wide, transformational ESG Data & Analytics solutions
- Assess clients' ESG performance across key areas such as environmental impact, social responsibility and corporate governance
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on data insights to help clients enhance their ESG performance and reputation
- Engage with clients' internal stakeholders, including senior executives, sustainability teams and investors, to gather insights and align ESG initiatives with organizational priorities
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and discussions to raise awareness of ESG issues and promote a culture of sustainability within client organizations
- Work closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
- Drive revenue within the client portfolio by identifying opportunities and influence/sell-in EPAM services
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations and best practices in ESG reporting and Data Analytics
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, business analytics or a related discipline
- Strong experience in Data Analytics, with a focus on ESG or sustainability preferred
- Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD) and reporting standards
- Demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to secure funding or sell ESG projects
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL and Tableau
- Experience in solution architecture on one of the cloud providers like Azure, AWS or GCP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects and delivering high-quality results in a consulting or advisory role
