Essex Legal Services (ELS) provide high quality, professional, legal advice across the Council and to external clients, enabling them to make well informed decisions which positively impact on service delivery whilst meeting statutory requirements. The service includes legal advice, the deputyships service, and the statutory decision-making process.
They work closely with senior leaders to make a real difference to the delivery of the business of the Council and the business of their clients. Leaders pride themselves on making this a great place for excellent professionals to work. Staff enjoy work that is challenging, varied and always interesting.
The Opportunity:
The Virtual Work Experience placement will take place between 24th June and 28th June 2024.
The programme will last one week, and you must be available each day between the hours of 10am and 4:15pm.

Essential Requirements:
- You must be an Undergraduate student or a Graduate in any discipline.
- You must have access to a device with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams to enable you to join virtual meetings and work on documents.

Shortlisting of applications will take place after the closing date of 15th April 2024. Shortlisted candidates will then be asked to complete a video interview the week commencing 13th May 2024. Successful candidates will then be notified by email.
