£12 per hour - Weekly pay - 9am to 6pm
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Temporary Event Receptionist to join our team in Central London. This role is a great opportunity to work with a global Oil and Gas company during their annual global event.
Job Duties:
- Respond to all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, redirecting or taking messages as necessary
- Welcome and greet all guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inclusive environment
- Offer refreshments to visitors, accommodating any dietary restrictions or accessibility needs
- Book and manage meeting room requests using Outlook, ensuring they are properly set up and cleared after use
- Maintain a clean and organised reception desk and area at all times
- Assist with ad-hoc duties, including typing and copying, as needed
- Prepare name badges for the event, ensuring accurate and inclusive representation
- Attend the event on one evening to distribute badges, providing a friendly and helpful presence for attendees
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years of receptionist experience in a corporate environment, interacting with international visitors
- Professional, energetic, articulate, and well-presented, with a warm and welcoming demeanour
- Flexible and adaptable, able to handle a fast-paced and busy environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with accessibility accommodations is a plus
