Events Executive - Corporate / Commercial Events - East London - up to £32k + bonus and benefits

We are looking for an experienced corporate Events Executive, with exceptional organisational and communication skills and a customer orientated nature, to join a leading events venue in the Docklands, London.

Joining a world class venue, the main focus of the Events Executive role is to act as a key point of contact for clients through the organisation of events. You will proactively pre-plan, manage and operate exhibitor days, small scale and internal events and will provide support to Event Managers on a variety of larger events.

This role would be suited to someone with a couple of years corporate events management experience who is looking for a challenging new role.

Please note: this is an office based role; therefore you will need to be able to commute to E16 on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities as the Events Executive will include:

  • Pre-planning, managing and operating exhibitor days, small scale and internal events
  • Acting as a main point of contact for event planning and delivery within the event space
  • Liaising and developing relationships with clients
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction for organisers, exhibitors and visitors
  • Monitoring performance of service providers
  • Maintaining event administration0
  • Ensuring company procedures and OH&S legislation is maintained
  • Undertaking post-event processes and following up as required
  • Providing support to Event Managers on a variety of events including complex conferences
  • And more!

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in corporate event coordination (conferences, exhibitions etc)
  • Event Management related qualification or degree is beneficial but not essential
  • Highly organised, proactive nature
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly clarify understanding
  • High standards of customer service - ability to respond quickly and professionally to customer queries and deliver high levels of customer care
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • IT literate including good MS Office and database management experience
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and their impact on managing events
  • Dynamic approach with the ability to wok under pressure
