Our FTSE 100 client is looking for an experienced Events Specialist to join their excellent Internal Communications and Engagement team. This fantastic new role is driven by the desire to deliver first class employee experiences to their UK-wide workforce, whether in person or virtual, and we're keen to engage with creative and driven events experts looking for that next step in their career.
About the role:
Working as part of a well-regarded and well-resourced Internal Communications function, and as part of a team reporting in to a Senior Manager, this new role will see you partner with senior stakeholders across the business to devise, shape and deliver innovative events - from small scale, local and/or departmental, to large scale all-hands UK-wide experiences... and anything in between. In this role you will:
- Own the strategy and plan for internal events in support of business goals
- Advise communications partners and stakeholders alike to help deliver high-impact and memorable experiences
- Create content and delivery plans, including up-front research and post-event measurement, and utilise technology to add impact
- Offer guidance, bring in industry best practice and new ideas, challenge thinking and constantly seek to improve outcomes
- Work alongside internal and external creatives
- Help upskill and support self-service re small scale events
About you:
We're looking specifically for experts in creating and delivering events, both in person and virtual. You may have a pure agency background, or in-house... but likely a combination of the two; plus, you'll be a first rate relationship builder and will have a strong client/outcome focus. We'd love to hear from people with experience in the tech, retail or FMCG sectors, although it's the expertise in creating memorable and innovative events that demonstrably improve the employee experience and build engagement that is key. You will have a strong understanding of how new technology can help improve the impact and effectiveness of events, and will have a passion and interest in keeping your knowledge current.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with an expectation of 2 days/week in an office where you will collaborate with colleagues and build relationships with stakeholders. Inevitably, with events taking place UK-wide, there will be the need for some business travel.
(Office locations include: London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh)
If this feels like 'you', please apply today for fuller details.
Due to a high volume of applicants, we are unable to respond to everyone. We will get in touch if you are successful in your application.
